Equipped with a new electrical panel and state-of-the-art instruments, the vacuum furnace is completely overhauled in its main components such as the thermal chamber, heat exchanger, pumping unit, vessel and valves.
The vacuum furnace has a metal thermal chamber and is suitable for the sintering of particular items made from Ti, Ti alloys and stainless steel powders.
The furnace is equipped with a completely dry ultra-high vacuum pumping unit (preliminary pump and secondary dry vacuum pump, i.e. non-lubricated) in order to sinter materials that react to the presence of even minimal traces of oxygen, while avoiding at the same time every trace of hydrocarbon in the hot zone. The dry unit does not require periodic maintenance of the lubricated units.
The furnace is made with a completely metallic thermal chamber (multiple reflecting screens made of molybdenum and stainless steel) to avoid contamination of the pieces due to the release of gases captured by the confinement system of the hot zone, as happens for example in thermal chambers made with graphite or ceramic boards.
All systems are subject to our quality procedures therefore they are checked in every detail: this allows us to guarantee the furnace for 12 months.
