Vertical vacuum furnace with a geometrical configuration of the resistor and the thermal chamber designed to obtain high heat exchange rates and great temperature uniformity.
The furnace is perfect for the following applications:
- Brazing in clean vacuum and with special alloys of copper (and other materials) components of radio-frequency accelerating structures,
- Brazing of ceramic components with Ag/Cu/Ti alloy,
- Brazing of refractory metals such as molybdenum, tantalum and tungsten,
- Vacuum firing procedure for special components for ultra-vacuum.

The process control can be either manual or fully automatic; in this last case, the presence of operators is not required.
The temperatures and pressures of the gases can be pre-fixed with great precision.
The emptying time of the system is extremely fast due to the large sizing of the pumping unit.
The furnace does not radiate heat to the outside and can be installed in a conditioned environment without significant temperature changes.
It uses electrical power only when required.
It does not cause environmental pollution either in the atmosphere or in the waste water.
